Screen wont work no display present

Just right of the bottom of the screen there is a little button called display. If you press that button during recording mode, you can cycle through different information on the screen. One is NO DISPLAY. others are like just the frame you want to tale a picture of, one is with the picture and information about the light, one with lines and so on. Just press the button several times to cycle through all these displays. It is on page 61 of the manual.

Could be bad ram,hard drive or possibly a bad display panel or video card.Try using different ram and removing the hard drive then try it.Also,connect it to an external display and see if it shows video or not.If after trying these things it still isn't showing let me know and i'll try to help more.

Most laptops have a backlit display panel, usually a black screen means that the rear illumination has either failed or the switch which places the laptop into sleep mode when you close the lid has failed or jammed. Most sleep switches can be seen around the spine or hinges of the display panel and gentle coaxing with a wooden toothpick can usually release them but DO NOT use a probe made of metal as this could cause catastrophic damage if it touches and of the internal circuitry.
If you find that the sleep switch is working, take the laptop to a qualified repairer as laptops are really bad to disassemble and the display is NOT a repairable item. The inverter for the backlights is usually contained within the trim surrounding the display panel but may sometimes be hidden inside the base of the unit. THIS INVERTER OPERATES AT HIGH VOLTAGES. NEVER TOUCH IT OR ATTEMPT ANY KIND OF REPAIR WHILST THE INVERTER IS CONNECTED TO THE POWER SUPPLY - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

It is possible that the display is faulty . You might have to confirm it with a test on the voltages present to the display, drive or the connection cord.
Remove and reset and if there is no visible change the display can be faulty.

First thing to try is a video reset.

While the PS3 if off (red light solid) hold down the power button until you hear the SECOND beep, quickly release.

Hello.

Look at your computer's function (F) keys. See which one has either a screen symbol or the words "CRT/LCD". Typically, it's the F4 or F8 key.

Hold down the Fn key and press that F key and after the first, second or third try, the presentation on the computer should display on your projector's screen.

Most TVs have a "display" button on the remote that controls the on-screen display. Keep pressing it and the display should finally go away. Depending on the brand and model, the screen may cycle through a number of different displays first, but should finally clear.

press f8 after boot up ,then select option enable vga,then when it start go to control panel,
un-install the display drivers,restart and reinstall them.

Loose mounting points or broken pins. If not that then possibly drum shaft could be cracked.
