Either the paper is slipping and not reaching the sensors at the right time. or a sensor flag is broken/missing/out/stuck and the device stops the paper thinking there's a jam. Clean all the paper feed rollers with a clean lint-free towel and water only. See if that will improve the grip of the rollers. If they appear shiny, replace the rollers. They are too worn out to continue working properly.
Sounds like 1 of 2 things. 1, you are using the wrong kind of paper for that printer. If it's got too much gloss on it the rollers may not be able to catch it.
2, and the more likely solution, is you just need to replace the rollers and run a maintenance on that printer. If you've never done this then it's probably time.
Here is an example maintenance kit which includes rollers and even a new fuser.

If your priter is showing a 241 paper jam and the paper stops in the paper tray or lower front, then you can replace the pick rollers to fix this problem. If the paper stops in the middle, then check to make sure the sensor flag in the middle left of the printer is clean and in place. If the jam is in the back of the printer then check the fuser rollers to make sure that they are rolling when the printer starts to print, check the exit sensors on the fuser, there are usually two flags, one on each side of the fuser. If there is no paper stuck in the printer, then make sure that all sensor flags are up and not stuck halfway down. Or check for dust in the sensors.
