Check the small Plastic ribbon which goes from left to right of the machine when you are looking at the printhead and there should be dirt somewhere. clean it carefully and it will work

That error is very general, usually just a piece of paper caught either on the extreme right or left hand sides driven there by the carriage assembly after a jam. You need a flashlight to see and also pull the carriage out of the right side, carefully, to look where the printhead parks when shut down.

1. The planetary arm assembly not engaged correctly 2. Ink cartridge/purge switch harness not connected correctly 3. Purge cam switch broken 4. Gear(s) on maintenance unit broken 5. Paper feed motor broken 6. Main PCB defective
I find that if there was a paper jam, and the user pulled the paper out, option 4 is most likely. It is the smallest of cracks but ruins everything!
