First time use may be sticking valves inside pump head or poor assembly. run for 10 mins first to see if it fixes itself. then remove cover and remove each valve and inspect, it should be obvious.
reply with pump head photo if more information needed.

SOURCE: won't run with air filter on

I have a fairly new pressure washer with the same problem and discovered that because it was temporarily stored on its back (rather than upright), oil seeped into the air filter housing. If you look at the air filter it may not look like it has oil on it - especially if the oil is new. Mine runs fine without the air filter, but as soon as I put it in, it does the same as yours. I came across this site since I am looking to order a new filter. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: pressure washer

Dear Davidpaulson,
There are many reasons why there is no pressure. The simplest one is try a new lance. The lance you say it is not blocked, but it could have a wider hole with wear and tear.
The second most possible reason is, faulty valves. The suction valves are the most that give low pressure when they are faulty. To check the suction valves, put on the machine in the normal way and as it is working, disconnect the water supply. Than check if air or water is blowing out from the inlet. This is not 100% but you can have a picture of the function of the suction valves.
On the other hand if you do this exercise with the outlet, after removing the gun, you can check for the delivery valves. If you feel suction at the outlet, than the delivery valves can be faulty.
If all is correct, than there must be a fault in the swash plate. This could become loose and so the pistons will stop moving. Also another fault could be broken springs.
Also if the machine is leaking, the high pressure and low pressure seals are damaged. This also lowers pressure.
Other faults are related to the famous spill valve. Also faults could be to internal water leakages, due to corrosion in heads. Finaly I like to add that a faulty electric motor, could also not deliver enough rotation and power, and this also reduces pressure. This could be rewinded or changed for a new one.
Regards,
MG.

SOURCE: pressure washer has no pressure

Try and back flush the washer..Take spay nozzle off washer and back flush with hose...If any kind of sand or deposits get into the Pump it will hold pressure valve open not letting it build pressure.after back flushing hook back up washer and before you put spar nozzle back on or start washer turn water on and make sure all air is out of washer..hook spray nozzle back up and hold it open with washer still off.when you see that there is no more air coming out of washer start it and you should have pressure.Hope this helps you and have a great day!!

the machine might have a blocked nozzle in the lance, of so get a paper clip and clear the jet backwards

How can I cut down on the road noise in my car?

Fit a less noisy tire. Most of the road noise is tire generated and there is a big difference in noise between tire brands and tire designs when run at the optimum tire pressures.

It is generally the case that the cheaper brands of tires will also be noisier than premium tires , especially as they incur wear. For example they may be fine for about 8- 10000 miles from new but then become progressively more noisy to the point that they become very annoying.

Do a bit of research on the net on tire brands and models within each brand (including reading tire reviews) and you will be able to select a tire that is less noisy than what you have fitted now.
Premium tire companies such as Bridgestone and Michelin for example have low noise tires in their range of products and both produce very good quality tires.

With tires, you generally pay for what you get. If you buy a cheap tire it will perform poorly compared with a premium product and will most probably be quite noisy as it begins to wear and the rubber gets harder over time.

My plumber says the pump should not run constantly, but should switch on and off. It come on for about 15secs and then off. I want it to run constant, will it create problems?

Assuming you do not build up really excessive pressures and the motor is not straining, running the motor constantly is better than having it cycle periodically. Every time a motor turns on a tremendous amount of juice goes into the motor windings until the motor speeds up and the back emf reduces the current. A constantly running motor will run cooler and last longer.

Code 40 on my eco intuitive what does it mean

40. (00101000) Bowl Dis-engage Fault
While carrying out a bowl check, the Motor Control Module has found that the bowl is not engaged even though the pressure sensor indicates that the bowl is empty.
The Motor Control Module continues to check for 2 minutes,
after which time it displays this fault.
The first two areas to check are the clutch and the pressure tube.
If these two appear correct, then the fault could be in the pressure sensor in the Motor Control Module.
Primary Source: Mechanical.
Action: 1) Check that there are no clothes or other foreign objects preventing the clutch from re-engaging.
Excessive suds can stop the bowl rotating.
2) If the machine is empty of water, carry out a clutch disassembly
procedure and check the spline drive.
3) Next check that the pressure tube has not come off and that it is
not kinked.
Secondary Source: Motor Control Module.
Action: Replace Motor Control Module.

My truck will run, but has a miss, i already done a full tune up, could it be wired wrong, and the fuel pump started ticking like a blinker whats that mean

may have low fuel pressure due to weak pump or weak power to pump, the clicking sounds like a relay, check that first then make sure when running you have constant 12v at pump at least 35 lbs of fuel pressure, you can rent the pressure gauge at a local advance or autozone ect, if all is well could be an injector or weak cylinder.... easy thing is to pull one spark wire at a time off and see if motor change when at idle if a certain one makes no change its that injector or spark to that cylinder
