Keyboard lock My keyboard stops working as if I am in tablet mode when I am not. Is there a manual way to set it to the physical keyboard? Just started - was working for 7 months fine.

How to Enable Physical Keyboard When Laptop Switches to Tablet Mode

In win10 settings is a switch you move from tablet mode to keyboard
go to settings then systems then down to the tablet mode and pick yer poison

IF your tablet and keyboard work with "Bluetooth" then check under you tablets settings page (look for Bluetooth) it may have been turned off.

IF your tablet/keyboard does not used Bluetooth, check the battery in the keyboard, It may have been depleted...

Does the keyboard have an OFF/ON switch, that my also be your issue.

Try power down iPad and see if it reset to default setting if not go to setting icon and go through your setting options.

First off go to setting an then Bluetooth. I'd first try activating it there. If it still fails to work you can stop it and also delete it from that settings screen.

In order to use orientation lock with the new update:

1. Double-click the iPad's home button, bringing up the multitasking menu with all programs you are currently running.
2. Swipe your finger to the left while in the multitasking area.
3. The orientation lock is now controlled through a software feature rather than the physical mute button.
4. Tap the orientation lock icon (circular arrow furthest to the left) to engage it.
5. In this menu you can also quickly change brightness settings and music controls.

A new feature rumored in iOS 4.3 (the next iOS iteration) will allow for the iPad's user to set whether the physical button controls orientation, or act as a mute switch.

shut down the notebook. Remove the battery for a couple of seconds and replace it. It works for me every time.

The keyboard locks up on mine when I turn the notebook on while in tablet mode. I mean the cover is closed with the screen facing out.

OK well usually in the "Setup" you can "Assign" whatever keys you need, so can't you change the keys used to what you have? ALL Keyboards have scroll lock, it is probably just "Hidden" for instance I found one accessed via pressing a Blue Fn Key and then F12. Look carefully for "Other: small writing on keys.

Does the keyboard work in Dos mode or when you boot up goto set up and see if you can use keyboard to adjust settings
