My lcd display won't show the camera image while taking pics but it will show the menu and previously taken photos by pressing the play button. What could be wrong?

Turn the camera on, and press the DISP button on the back of the camera. This turns the LCD screen on and off. The idea of this button is to save battery power (you would then use the peep hole optical viewfinder in its place).

Hi, can't set the date stamp on my canon ixus 65

The camera only stamps the date on the pictures when in postcard mode. When in any of the bigger image modes it won't deface your photos by scrawling a string of numbers across them. However the date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every image in its EXIF data. If you want this printed, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your photos. Depending on the program and printer, you may print this information on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Need drivers for ge x500 camera

On newer operating system I think this one gets recognized but if it doesn't for you you may have to run the setup cd you should have got with the camera.
That will install any files or drivers needed as well as the image editing software.

The main page for it is here:
http://www.general-imaging.com/us/Digital-Camera.aspx?id=1962

And the support page is here (where all the file downloads are):
http://www.general-imaging.com/us/supportDetail.aspx?id=1962

Just go there and click on what you want along the left side of the screen. Make sure it is showing the x500.

If my links won't work then you need to go to
http://www.general-imaging.com

Click on our cameras then the picture of your camera. For support stuff just click on the support link and chose the picture again. That will get you to the same pages as the first links. The software should detect when the camera is plugged into the usb. I do have one canon that refuses the play nice and won't do this so I just use a card reader to transfer the pictures right off of the cards. On the same page is contact information for support don't be afraid to call them and ask them anything.

How do I turn the date stamp on I have a Kodak C143

The C143 won't deface your photos by scribbling a string of numbers across the image. However, the date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every image. Any photo editing program will show you this data and allow you to put it onto the image. Depending on the program and printer, you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back. Please refer to the documentation for whatever program(s) you're using to view/print your pictures.

If you can't find it, please feel free to reply to this post, specifying the program(s) you're using.

Playsport zx5 won't shut off. Was recording and it just locked up. The screen still shows what the lens sees, but the recording locked up after 4:18. Camera has been on for 3 hours now...

I had this problem. It turned out to the sd card was causing a problem. I took the card out and hit the reset. The turned it back on and it it working great. I ended up copying all the images off the card onto my computer then put the card in the camera and reformatted it. The copied all my images back on to the computer and it is working fine. Hope this helps.
