if your game is played from facebook the game is automaticly backed up to facebook its self or if you have used the game under a google account and used the google account to backup your game the game will backup everything to your google account and transfer there (please check the game's settings first on how it is backing your game up!)
Try logging out from Facebook from inside PPS, do a restart on the iPad (hold down Home and Power button together for 10 seconds) then start PPS and connect to FB. If that doesn't work, delete the game and reinstall it. (This is standard troubleshooting for most apps)
Make sure the wifi/3g is turned on and connected to a network with internet access. You might need to refresh your router and modem as my Galaxy Tab sometimes gets messed up if I log on to another wifi network away from home. i.e. McDonalds/Pizza Hut etc. I may be connected to my wifi, but my tablet doesn't have a correct IP address if it has one at all. The internet speed can be a factor as games don't use a much bandwidth as apps like Google and Facebook.
are you actually shutting down the game?
i.e. by double pressing the home button and 'sliding' the app of the top of the page.... if not the game remains sleeping in the background.
try this and then fully poet off using the red power off slide. leave for a couple of mins and turn back on.
re start the game and connect to Facebook.
i did have this problem and found this helped, although i downloaded new update and it has not happen since.
If you are away from home and your iPad does not have a cellular connection you will not be able to connect to Facebook. You can play the game, but to connect to Facebook you'll need to be connected to an internet connection of some kind (wi-fi, cellular, etc...).
Me either what can I do???
Mine does same thing...like with all the facebook games & cant get Castleville to play at all...at least I can play others.
