Try to take out the batteries of all the phones. Unplug the phone base for 1 minute. Plug all the batteries back in to the phones. plug the power back in to the phone base. That should reset your phone set up thus eliminating the problem.
I also looked at your manual. If the handsets are registered to your old base, you need to deregister them from looking for the old base. Then you need to register them to the new base. Hope thsis helps!
After trying all the technician's suggestions had failed; I disconnected the base to return it to the store for replacement. Then I decided to try disconnecting and reconnecting power and phone line, placed handset back on base and the phone reset itself and is working fine...
Recap:
Disconnect power and phone line from base for about 30 seconds and reconnect both power and phone line to base and place handset back on base; it should reset...
press ok button ..>> TAM
press down botton three times ..>> REGISTER
PRESS OK button .....>>PIN CODE
ENTER THE PIN CODE (0000)
simultaneously,
press and hold the page button on the base unit
green light will light up
if this is successful the lcd will show >>SUCCESS
FAILED it will show>>BS SEARCH
If Failed just repeat a few times and it sould work...........
