Netflix without cable tv?

There should be an error code when it can not connect.
If you have turned the TV off and then on again and this has not worked.
You can try disconnecting your internet connection from the TV and re connecting.
If this does not work, you can try and uninstall and re-install the Netflix application.
Without much information about make and model, this is the best information I can give.

1: a netflix account with active subscription and 2: a working internet provider with a WiFi connection or LAN cable plugged in the back of the tv (if its a smart tv if not a media capable pc is needed or BluRay player)

Several possibilities:
1. Connect a laptop to the tv, where you have netflix on. This will cost only a cable.
2. Buy a android mediabox and install netflix app.
3. If you already have an android tablet: buy a chromecast connector for tv.

when iNetflix tries over and over to connect an can't there is a problem with Netflix talking to your cable service.

Go to Netflix.com and log into your account on your computer.
Be sure you are connected there.

Then if possible disconnect from your cable service for 1 minute by turning off your cable modem . You may need to contact your cable service if you are. Ot sure of how to do this.

turn on TV and go the Netflix app
it may ask you to reactivate your account so you may need to refer back to your account on your computer.

If it asks you to log in again on your TV do that.

it should reconnect. If not it is a problem with your cable service provider.

you must have internet service...Netfilx is a digital streaming service.. You don;t need a computer but you have to have access to a digital internet network either via computer, pad, wifi cell phone with unlimited data or something of the sort. Cable does not support or offer netfix . You best bet is to get internet service in your home and a smart tv.

Netflix is an online streaming service....this means as long as you have the internet and a smart box or tv or computer laptop or tablet you can use it to watch netflix amazon hulu etc.
it is better to use a cable (Ethernet ) from router to tv as opposed to wifi.without internet no netflix.

Yes you can but you need the internet to watch it. Without a internet connection the only option left would be to view it through your phone. Again though your phone would have to have web access.

On your computer you can, unless you have a google chromecast or a roku or something.
