I have got creative sound blaster AWE 64D sound card and I fix it in the CPU but voice does not come and even I am unable to find the driver from the net. Please help me

Have Acer 5600 laptop. sound is really messed up. how can i tell if there is a separate sound card or if it's "in" the motherboard. you can tell i know very little about computer innards!
