Hi
A USBFLB80 is not a hard disk controller, it's an external USB hard
drive and does not require any driver when used in Windows ME/2000/XP.
This device is plug and play in Windows XP providing you have a working
usb port to plug it into.

As it turns out, the data transfer cables I have work with laptops but not my Lenovo desktop. What's that all about? I have to prop the drive on a stack of CD's, because i Have one extension usb that allows me to work from the desktop.
That makes no sense to me.
No, it doesn't. But it's true. My Lenovo all-in-one desktop has the USB ports on the side of the system, and they are vertical. I have a USB extension that works with the Lenovo and the laptops, and I prop the drive on top of a stack of CD's and I'm good to Go.
