Look under the seat for a pressure switch.

I wiggled the key firmly and it started up. I think it has a short or bad switch or something.

Yamaha g9 gas golf cart won't shut off we pulled the battery cable off and it still ran for 3 hours until it ran out of gas

Check the throttle cable on the carb to see if it is returning to off position. There also may be a stop switch in the floorboard that grounds the engine when the pedal is in the up position.

Have 2003 Yamaha Gas Golf Cart. was running, but will not start again.

Fuel line; filter... calcium build-up can cause this issue. It sounds like there may also be a loose connection via the wire chassis.

Oil and fuel blowing out through top of motor in yamaha golf cart 4 stroke engine

Engine got to much oil in it? Worn engine allowing fuel down into engine diluting the oil and raising the oil level? Blocked engine breather, pressurising the crankcase. Oil change and clean the breather. Worth a try
