I recently purchased 2 Zeepads for my kids and a friend of mine also purchased one for hers. We both have SD cards that we have put into the devices to expand the minimal space on the device. The problem we're having is that while the device recognizes the card, it shows it as the extSD and not the SD card. This is a problem because when I try to move apps to the SD card, it claims there's not enough space. It's not trying to move it to the external SD. How can I fix this? There is no internal SD card listed on one device and the other 2 show 1 gig of space which quickly filled up and doesn't really seem to give the full amount of space.

First, go to Settings > Storage and check if the "Default write disk" is set to "SD card". Then go to Settings > Apps and swipe to the left until you get to "SD card". Below will be all the Apps that can be be moved to the external SD card. Click in the box on the right and another page will come up. About in the middle of the page will be "MOVE TO SD CARD" tab. Tap on it and wait until it finishes. Then go back and pick another App to move. You should be able to download apps directly to the external SD card. I haven't done that on this device and not all apps will download to the external SD card (the app maker can restrict downloads to only the internal memory. This tablet is one of the rare few Android devices that allow moving Apps to external memory.
If it's the latest ver of android... When I put the card in it will ask u if u want to use it as adaptive or external.... If the option is there choose adaptive
The default on most tablets is to install apps to internal storage so the SD card does no good by itself. You can go into Settings>Applications and change the location for each app to the SD card. Likewise anything else you put on a tablet, particularly photos and videos get stored in internal storage. If you have taken a lot of photos and videos they can fill up your storage quickly. You can change this in the Camera app by tapping the settings icon and changing the storage option to SD card. You will still need to actually move existing photos and videos to the SD card manually or copy them to external storage and delete them. I would also change the image and video resolution in Camera settings to 640x480. This is plenty good enough for pictures you just want to look at on the device or share online.
When you insert an SD card in the slot the tablet will *mount* it automatically. This means it connects to it and formats it and adds some files and folders so it can utilize it.
Before you remove it you need to go to Settings>Storage>External SD and touch the *unmount* option.
If you don't do this there is a chance the card can be corrupted and can become unusable. If the tablet said new SD card then you might have to go into Settings>Storage>External SD and touch the *Mount* option.
If it's a new SD card chances are you didn't hurt it. But if it's a use one on which you had a lot of data stored and you didn't unmount it before removing it you could have damaged the file structure and your only option to get it back would be to put it into a card reader on a laptop or desktop and reformat it.
Plug it up to your computer or laptop using your usb cord. DO NOT remove the SD card. Double-click My Computer and access your Trio Stealth G2 SD card that way. You should be able to see your pics if the kids did NOT do extreme damage.
In the settings of the camera app it should have something called 'default save location' or 'Memory in use' set it to "Ext. SD" card. Most tablets have an internal SD so it is important that you select EXT SD card (external SD card). If you have already found that setting, and 'Ext SD card' is not listed as an option, you need to format that SD in the tablet itself so it builds the folders it needs. Put it into a PC first though to copy off anything you need because formatting it will delete all data.
