Are you getting any heat from the condenser? Sounds like the buzzing is the compressor failing to pump.

SOURCE: I have 3 FIM70 ice

Hello. The symptoms you describe indicate that an interior cleaning is in order:

The ice storage bin should be sanitized occasionally. Clean the bin before the ice maker is

used for the first time and reused after stopping for an extended period of time. It is

usually convenient to sanitize the bin after the ice making system has been cleaned and

the storage bin is empty.

1. Disconnect power to the unit.

2. Open the door and with a clean cloth, wipe down the interior with a sanitizing

solution made of 1 ounce of household bleach or chlorine and 2 gallons of hot water

(95? to 115?F).

3. Rinse thoroughly with clear water. The waste water will be drained off through the

drainpipe.
4. Reconnect power to the unit.

Here is the owner manual in case you do not have one:

Hello

Ice may jam up in an ice dam and close off the chute. Shove the ice scoop up into the chute with a fair amount of force to break up the ice dam. Chunks of ice should fall into the bin, followed by a shower of ice cubes.

SOURCE: My FIM70 will not produce

Hi jerisaab,

If the unit won't produce ice, it is often caused by a bad water supply to the unit or a bad water valve on the unit. The easiest way to correct this is by disconnecting the water supply. Now if you have a strong water supply coming from the water line then replace the water valve, if not then replace the water line. You may also check if the circulating fan is working. If they stuck, use a WD 40 then work it back and forth a little.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

KM450MAB my machine makes a batch of ice then goes into harvest cycle and dose not come out of it, it gets realy hot. What can be the problem?

Probably the suction line thermister, this sensor should signal a timer in the main control board to initiate harvest. If the thermister is OK than there may be a problem with the control board

Loud buzzing noise doesnt stop freezer is still working everything still frozen, just loud noise coming from back bottom of freezer where the parts are, and compressor is very hot to the touch. freezer is...

Locate what is making the noise. There is a fan in the freezer behind the rear cover inside. There is a fan underneath accessed from the rear behind the cardboard backing. The compressor is also there with a starter/overload relay which could make the noise.

My maytag Wide by Side refrigerator started making this buzzing noise coming from the freezer section every few minutes and now it no longer cools.

It is possible that the door was not closed tighly, so the humidity built up in the duct line and the low temperature from the freezer make it turned into ice causing the clogging. The Buzzing noise turns on due to the sensorsomewhre along the disigne path. Unplug the fridge for a day and a half so the the ice in the duct line could melt down then when you turn on the sensor won't turn on the buzzing any more. Good luck.
