Do a hard reset, press and hold the +vol button, then the power button, wait about 20 seconds both buttons held till the start android screen appears. Hope that helps

Look in your tablet instruction book for a procedure called 'hard reset' or a location for a small hole on the edge or back of the tablet where you can push in something non-conductive, like a toothpick to press a hidden reset switch. Without having a make and model for your tablet, it is hard to determine what exactly to do because each make and model is different. You talk about pressing the power and low volume buttons- are you holding them both in simultaneously for 10 seconds? This might be the reset procedure for your tablet, but that is not clear. One last thing to try is to hold in the power button for 10 seconds and see if you get a power off screen. If you get this, try powering off the tablet and then restarting. Also make sure the keyboard isn't on caps lock when you type your password.
The only thing to do now, is to reset it to factory original settings. On the back, there is a small hole about an inch in from the side with the charging port and ear bud connections. This hole may have a sticker covering it. Take a small paperclip and straighten one end. Gently stick it in this hole till you feel resistance. There is a small hole in the back of your tablet with an "R" or "Reset" next to it. Put a paperclip into the hole and hold it down for half a minute, it should give a little as you are pressing a button inside the hole. When you turn the screen over you will either see only a blank screen or the word "Emerson". That is the tablet going through the shutdown process don't be concerned if you see either as the word only stays on for a short time. Let the tablet sit for 3 or 4 minutes then try to power it back on by holding down the power button. You should see a screen after a few seconds that says "Emerson" that will have a rotating partial circle under it. This should complete your reset. If this doesn't work then you are most likely having a hardware or firmware problem and need to take the tablet back to your place of purchase for support.
