Taking a screenshot on a tablet

Is your tablet running Android? There is an Android app you can download that can help you take screenshot of your device. Just google screenshot ultimate apk, download and install it. Another one I recommend is Apowersoft Screenshot.

Keypad Method

1. Navigate to the desired screen.
2. At the same time, press and hold the Power key and the Home key.
3. When the white border appears around the edge of the screen, release the keys. The screenshot has been captured.
4. Screenshots are saved in the Gallery application inside the Screenshots album.

This should work on any Android 4.0 and newer tablet.
To take a screenshot on your device, press the Volume Down and Power keys at the same time.
The screen will flash, you'll hear a sound, and you'll see a framed image appear and fade into the notification bar. The "Saving screenshot" notification will appear.

Not sure what type of tablet you have; I'm thinking they are different.

Try this: 1. Hold down the POWER button and then press the HOME button.

2. That's it! Seriously, it's that easy! You'll see a message appear on the screen that says "screenshot saved to Camera shots". You can then go to your Gallery app to see the screenshots that you have captured.

I'm not certain, but I believe that is a function of the Android OS. Mine has an icon which takes a screenshot... and I often do, even when I do not want to. I found nothing about screenshot in the Acer manual, so I am not sure how you can make this a function. The manual is at:
