Wont connect to internet

IF that is the only thing that is connected to the internet, then you can reset the router and see if that helps. A lot of times the computer can connect to the router but the router wont connect to the internet. If not let us know

The problem could be one of two issues.
1. The DNS setting is incorrect on your WiFi Router or device you are connecting with.
To change this I suggest you contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and let them talk you through the steps.
2. the Firewall on you WiFi Router is on and blocking access. Log on to the router with admin, and switch the firewall off.

You have to re-connect wifi network within the phone. Go to system settings -> wifi -> choose your new SSID and type in passphrase.

turn off your wifi connection. wait in seconds and trun on again your wifi. and try to check you internet connection.

Verify that you do in fact have a wifi connection by opening up safari and going to a webpage. You may try going to settings and trying a network reset. This will reset your internal antenna to factory settings.

Yes this is possible. You will need to bridge connections between your WIFI adaptor and Ethernet ports.

Navigate to Network connections, select both your WIFI adaptor and Ethernet adaptor. Now right click and select "bridge connections"

To connect to the internet using wifi on the iPod touch, just follow the following steps:
Firstly, you should be in a wifi zone(an area where you can access wifi) or if you want to use it at your house with your residential internet connection, just get yourself a wifi router(shouldn’t cost more than $50-60) and configure it with your residential internet Once you are in a wifi zone, on your iPod touch, go to:
Settings > Wifi > Turn your wifi ON > Select a wifi network > Key in the WEP(only if asked for) > Connect
Once you’re done with this, you should get the IP settings and be able to surf the internet with no problem.
Note: At times when you’re too far away from the wireless router or a big thick brick wall is separating you and the wifi router, your iPod might show the network as available and you would also be able to connect to it, but surfing the internet using it would become a problem. If this happens to you, don’t worry, just move closer to the wifi router and it shouldn’t pose any other problems. Happy Surfing!
