Do this. With the set off and using the remote press the following buttons in order within 3 seconds. Display, 5, volume +, power. The set will come on in service mode. Now press 8 then Enter. This will reset the computer in the set back to original factory mode, just like it came out of the box. You will have to reset any personal settings you had before this. IMPORTANT!!!! Do not press any other buttons while in service mode. You could unknowingly cause yourself a lot of trouble.
Flip ipen the front face of the remote control so that you have access to the buttons underneath. Press and hold the "light" button on the outside right of the remote while pressing the "enter" button to the right of the number "1" button.
THIS WON'T WORK IF YOU HIT THE "enter" BUTTON BETWEEN THE ARROW KEYS.
The screen should now flash PRESS and VCR 2 - press the onscreen key marked VCR 3.
The screen should now flash PRESS aqnd OSD - press the onscreen key marked OSD.
Test all of the onscreen keys. If you find them still unaligned, repeat the process.
