1. Power off the printer and computer and then disconnect the interface cable.

2. Power the computer back on.

3. Once the computer has booted, power the Brother machine back on.

- If the computer still reboots, restarts, shuts down, or enters hibernation mode, this problem is related to the power source for the Brother machine and computer. Continue to the next step.

4. If the Brother machine and computer are plugged into the same surge protector, uninterruptible power supply, or power backup device, power everything off.

5. Unplug the Brother machine power cord from the power device.

6. Plug the Brother machine power cord directly into a wall outlet or a different surge protector strip. You may need to use the reset button on the power device.

7. Power the Brother machine and computer back on.

Vizio LED TV E48-C2 keeps turning on by itself.

Turn it off and on using the power point. You will also save power as equipment still uses power in standby mode.

Very frequently I get up on my Ipad the words "Slide to power off", in a further note is the word " cancel" Have I somehow done something in settings. Could someone explain for me please?

that is exactly what you are doing. All of the idevices have two power down options.
1) A quick press of the power button will put your device to sleep mode. This is like the sleep, hibernation, power save mode on your computer.
2) Long press of the power button will bring up the "SLIDE TO POWER OFF" option which will shut down your device. This option is for turning off your device completely. Its like rebooting your device.

When i restart the system don't turn on again

something may be wrong with the power supply. i have a computer where the power supply is faulty and it used to shut down automatically after 1 hour. nowadays, it shuts down more frequently, whenever restarted, it will not come up again. i have to wait for sometime so that power-supply can cool down and i can start. -Nitesh Kumar Anand

Power cycle my 2 Wire modem frequently

Sounds like you need to call your ISP - let me guess - Rogers or ATT - and tell them you need them to reset you and also find out what your speed is supposed to be. You may have birds or a nest somewhere out side.

System not initializing

Does the machine have a network box on back? Frequently on that product the boards in the network controller come lose, and simply need reset.
You can unplug all accessories and see if it powers up then, then connect them back one by one and see which one causes the failure.
