If the problem only happens upon update, it could be a software issue. However if it happens all the time regardless..
It's most likely a short between the start-up processor signal on the interface board and power supply or 1 of the 2 bad themselves.
You would need to pull out the board, identify those parts, and check continuity in the path. I wasn't able to find a circuit diagram online to tell you the exact location,.
If it's under warranty your best bet is to have it serviced and recommend that fix.
If many others are having the same issue the software is likely the cause and hardware with the opposite.
