Error 60 is connection to the CD player interrupted.

There is no supply voltage present for the decoder board or the CD player.

Check that all of the cables to the decoder board are in good condition and connected correctly and securely.

Rowe ami r80 jukebox is exepting selections but keeps reapeating

I don't have a manual handy but it could be a few things, you may need to reinitialize the jukebox, maybe there is a dirty wiper or the control module may be on its way out. I would try to locate a repair manual for it, there might be an old vending company in your area with one.

My DVD player won't read, keeps saying disk error

In most cases when the CD does not play it is possible that the optical head is a suspect. Sometimes it might pick up ordinary audio CD but will not play other formats. This indicates that the optical head is weak and so there is no detection or scanning of the CD . If the optical is working the tracks will be read immediately but with no scanning the laser head can be defective.

The main motor will not work in some cases as unless the tracks are read the drive motor will not work with signal from the processor.
Sometimes certain cleaner disks will not be tracked to run for cleaning as it will not be read and so will reject. Hence it is ideal to manually clean the laser head eye using a cleaning swap /cotton bud with gentle pressure on the lens eye.
If there is no result then watch if the CD spins or tries to spin. If so the board seems to work unless a test is taken on the main board but the possibility of a defective optical head can be the suspected fault.
If any of the above seems otherwise we must recheck with possibilities of a malfunction of the main processor board

Is your 3 digit display on? If not, does the Z LED Flash when rotating the record carrier? If so, you may need to have your computer repaired. If the Z LED doesn't flash, check the 12 volt fuse in the amplifier. If you need your computer repaired or further assistance, please email me, Rod Stebelton, [email protected].

Nsm cd wont play

I can't guarantee to solve this but hopefully I can give you some pointers.

ER 61 can point to 1 of 4 possible errors:

1. CD is not recognised
2. No CD in the player
3. CD defective
4. Player defective

When you loaded the CDs did you record the titles into the title memory? If not it is worth running this function first. For sake of time just run this for one disc first to see it is works.

If it still fails then try a different CD. Load the disc detail into memory again first tho.

If you have success with that then run the function for all discs.

Unfortunately if it still fails I think you will need to get a professional to give the player the once over.

Hope this helps.

Jukebox error

error 61 on the nsm is a cd read error nothing to do with the amp, clean laser lens with a cotton bud and spit not spirits etc just saliva, then make a blank selection and see if the laser emits red beam, if not then the laser is faulty, check connections etc, if it picks up the disc but does not spin it its the decoder at fault, places like act marketing london, jukebox showroom, capital coin, herondata sales or anyone operator within the amusement industry will gladly sell you an exchange unit, or just try the coinslot industy magazine online or order via wh smiths
