Is the garden hose connected and turned on?If so make sure that the trigger on the gun is being pulled while your trying to start the engine! The backed up pressure in the high pressure hose can mimic a blown or seized engine in this situation.

What kind of soap do i use and do i use it strait or mix with water i have a 2600 just a hose i think is for the soap

most solutions are sold to be used as is , place the tube from the washer into the cleaning solution as you spray it will be mixed with the spray water . the kind of cleaner depends on what you are cleaning . you can buy cleaner for decks or cars or house etc.

Have an excell 2500 honda power washer, brand new carb and gaskets, fresh fuel, good fuel flow apparent, same problem, runs perfect for 20 seconds then shuts off.

the carborater may need a dighafram or carborater cleaning of the bowl

Honda Excell 2600 no pressure and water is leaking from the pump. i believe it's the unloader but can i fix it myself. i'm handy with tools and repairs but do no have the manual.

a manual will not tell you how to replace the unloader if you have the same unloader you will need a pressure gauge to adjust it at 2600 psi and your spike pressure should not exceed 3100psi and the leak at pump you need to check your oil make sure is not milky and if not you will need seals also

I have a excell 2600 honda 5hp gc 160.It has not been used for over a year. I empted the old gas out & put in new gas. It will start but when I push the choke in it shuts off.

A couple of things....

Clean the air filter and make sure it is dry.

Check for any springs that have come off of the linkage.

With compressed air, blow out the carburetor.

Clean and clear out the fuel tube from the tank to the carb housing.

Be sure you have proper oil level.

Out of what you have said...it is something in the carburetor....probably needs a flushing with air.

try to tap on the recoil cover to see if the rope returns,remove recoil cover if that doesnt work. What type engine and pump? The type of oil used in which the engine or the pump both should be listed in either the documentation you recieved at purchase or online.

Change the Spark Plug. Drain the old fuel out and replace with fresh gas. Prime, choke and start.

should be a honda gcv 160 5,5 horsepower engine.

do a search for honda engine carburretor adjustment, plenty of pages on the internet detailing how to adjust carbs, mixture etc.

That engine requires a separate gas and oil. There is an oil sump with oil level needle and cap on the side of the engine. This is where you fill it with special pressure washer pump oil available from any good outdoor store or place where pressure washers are sold. As for gas, Unleaded or Premium unleaded gas will work fine. Try not to use any fuel with ethanol blends however.
