Lamp and or ballast are most common BUT did you hear before a high pitched or fan like sound before this happened?

This is either the lamp or the ballast that needs to be replaced. I'm going to assume it be the lamp.

Tv have alots of clicking noises too to get tv turn on?The Ballast board is having problems.The Ballast board job it to ignite the projection lamp.

i have seen before that model have some problems with the lamp door switch. check the back of the tv and make sure that the lamp door is secure otherwise it can be possibly a color wheel or even lamp failure. if you have never replaced the lamp then i would lean more towards that as the root of your problems.

The Blinking light is an error code, most likely you just need to replace the bulb which is fairly easy, there is an access panel on the back and you should be able to replace your self. A new bulb should include basic instructions here is a link price is $110

First. The whirring or buzzing sound you hear is the Color Wheel and it needs to be replaced. Second, since I do not know when and if the original lamp has been replaced it is a good idea to replaced the lamp. The bad Color Wheel is the one causing the set to shut down.

From what I have read the most frequent solution to this problem is that the lamp door has become loose and that microswitch on it needs to be reset. Simply loosen the screw to the lamp door and open it a little bit and then close it again making sure that the door is closed tightly and retighten the screw.

Unfortunately, the second most common problem is that the main DMD digital board has developed a problem which is much more expensive to replace.

it was bad bulb

lamp shuts off first..with sound still on and black screen.then turns off and has three blinking lights on front panel.

I had the exact same problem with my TV turning off for no reason. If those two lights are blinking in the front it means your TV thinks the lamp door is open and shuts down. In my case i had to open the door and adjust the spring lever because it was not making good enough contact.
