SOURCE: call volumn

If you have pressed the volume up button, while talking on the phone and it still is not loud enought you will probably have to purchase one of the handsets with a volume control built into it. That is the only suggestion I can think of that will resolve your problem. Good Luck

SOURCE: Handset problem

It sounds like you have a defective handset cord or handset. First, at your phone, switch your handset with another phones handset that you know for sure works. From your phone make a test call. If the caller can now hear you, the original handset from your phone is defective. If the caller still can not hear you, switch your handset cord with another handset cord from another phone that you know works. From your phone make another test call. If the caller can hear you, then your original handset cord is defective. You can purchase another handset cord from your local office supply store. Your phone uses a standard handset cord. It may be difficult to match the original color of your handset cord. Be sure to take your defective handset cord with you, so you can try to match the color. If the caller still does not hear you. Put your original handset and original handset cord back on your phone. Then plug your phone in to another wall jack, that you know works with another phone. The other phone needs to be an identical phone to yours (same number of buttons and same model number. The model number can be found under the phone). Wait approximately 90 seconds, sometimes longer, after you plug your phone into the other wall jack. Now, make another test call from your phone. If the caller can now hear you from your phone with it plugged into another working jack, then you have a defective station port or jack where your phone was originally plugged in at. If the caller still can not hear then you have a defective phone.

Ensure that the handset is plugged in to the correct spot on the bottom of the phone. Flip the phone over and look.

It should be in the handset location NOT the headset... they look the same, and the phones handset will fit in the wrong spot on the set.

SOURCE: our phone system rings three

Is this an IP Office?
This is how it works. For some reason the IP Office waits for teh first 2 rings to get caller ID, and then lets the call ring in.

My panasonic KX-TG5000 phone headsets cannot make or recieve outgoing calls and the intercom function is gargly.

You need to reset the menu once again as it is possible that the phone had hung up as there was LINE PROBLEMS . Once this was reset the CLIP facility came back. So if you can once again remove power battery and keep aside to reset , then start all over to set up the base and slave units to MESH , the intercom and line facility must work.
You can remove the battery from the slave remote units to reset.

Put Phone on Mute while on conference call

The button for handsfree is the same button for Mute.
So when you are on the handsfree call, press the handsfree button again and the call is muted on your side.

To talk again, press the handsfree button to un-mute the call, then press it again to mute your call.

To hang up press the orange RLS button.

O2 XDA IIs - Speaker Off, Call Recieve Failure

Hi there. I have the same problem with my O2 XDA IIi. But I found that inserting the power adaptor in and out brings back the volume and all is fine for a few hours. The problem could be a power socket or the audio jack. Either one could be broken and may need replacement. Good luck.
