I use the MW600 and bot these models are the same and come with a micro- usb charging port. The device already comes with a battery in it. Battery model is GP0836L17.
I'll start by saying the suggested answers you see are provided by the website and may not have anything to do with your actual question. There is a 30amp and a 40amp fuse in the box near the battery that protects the key switch. You need to make sure those fuses have power to proceed. The flashers, horn, and other circuits are not controlled by the key switch.
WHAT HAPPEND? - I was listening music and it fell from my arm for the chair, about 30cm height and after that, it not power again...
HOW I FIXED IT? - I had to disassembled it. I had to remove its battery, spinning a little the battery and put its back. I pushed the power button and it worked... :D

Hi,
If your battery is not charging there could be two reasons for the same . First the battery has exceeded its lifetime and requires a change or is faulty
Second your ac adapter is not giving enough charge to charge the battery.
Open the battery health meter , by pressing the Fn+ F3 key on the keyboard . check if battery reports any error message.
Shutdown the computer and disonnect the Ac adapter and the battery and press the power button for 10 seconds
Reconnect both the Ac adapter and the battery
power on the system and tap on the f2 key slowly on the left side of the screen , look for the option that says battery info.
Check what is the status of the Ac adapter and is the battery showing charging.
if the Ac adpater shows as none, then adapter needs a replacement otherwise the battery.
First, the dock will charge only the batteries that came with the device; not other rechargeable batteries. Be sure that the Kodak battery is inserted correctly, the door is closed securely, and that the camera is securely seated in the dock with the power cord secure to both the dock and the AC outlet. The USB cord does not supply power to the dock. Hope this helps. DigiChick
