I need to find the serial number. how can I do that

The only people that will know is Hoover. There are no clues in there. It could be 3 month of 2002, but anyone's guess. Phone them up.

Shark products don't have serial numbers. They are meant to be disposable therefore have no need for serial numbers. Shark doesn't even have a parts dept.

Look for a label (possibly a silver-colored label with black print) along the side (left or right side) of the main body of the vacuum / collection container.

I would suggest you contact the maker of the vacuum to help with this, I think you are inputting the wrong number if I had to guess.

Charlotte, Look through the links, hopefully you will find your model and it shows where serial # is, or if you know your model #, try google searching serial # location.

Most appliances you can tell the year and month made in the serial number it's self.

Not all items made by Eureka have serial numbers. Unless its a high end machine, there won't be a serial number. You will only find a model number which is just a general number defining what model the machine is.

Start at http://www.singermachines.co.uk/faq/vintage-sewing-machine-serial-number-list/ and scroll to the bottom of the page for the links for serial numbers that start with 1 or 2 letters.

The F9620856 was built in 1920 and EB976045 was built in 1939. Both were manufactured in Clydebank, Scotland.
