You replaced the drum only. But did not replace the developer. Now to solve this you will need to replace the drum again and replace the developer.

Garmin nuvi 2557 brightness issues--keeps dimming the screen so it is unusable while driving despite correct settings

Setting the current time to "automatic" will solve this issue. I don't know why, but it does.

My sincere advise is replace the imaging unit, spacer set and developer of your photocopier machine.
