Wet spark plug

Spark plug gets wet because it's running too cold. Loosen plug and retighten only tight enough so it doesn't loosen from vibrations. Just a tad beyond hand tight is enough. This way the spark plugs heat is not dissipated to the cylinder head and run much hotter burning away any excess fuel deposits.

While changing spark plugs one broke off & thread part still in the head, what is the best way to get it out.

You should still be able to get a spark plug socket on it. Unscrew it all the way until it is loose. I am assuming you have the engine where the spark plugs are recessed in the head and difficult to reach. What you need, once the remaining part of the plug is loose, is a very strong magnetic pickup tool that is long enough to reach the plug. Another option is to get a length of rubber hose just small enough to fit in the spark plug hole, but large enough to fit around the spark plug. Push the hose down over the spark plug. If it fits snug enough, you will be able to pull the plug out with the rubber hose. Good luck.

Wont run

Hey Chad,

The first thing I would do is a compression test. You say you have spark, but have you actually tested the strength of the spark ? A simple check to see if the spark is strong enough is to take the spark plug, hook it up to the spark plug wire, hand hold the shell portion of the plug roughly a 1\2 inch away from the cylinder head, and crank the engine over. If the spark jumps this gap, you have good spark. If it doesn't jump this gap, your ignition coil or stator coils maybe weak and not producing enough voltage for a good spark.
