Normally You have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the previously hidden screw(s) you need to remove.
Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) that demonstrates how it's done.
In some cases, you then have to gently rotate the handle to unlock it.

if the handle is available separately; it's more than likely screwed in from the inside of door. carefully remove the inner door trim with a small putty knife; working it around. screws for handle should be visible.
New handles for microwaves can be bought on amazon. Take a look here Amazon com microwave handle and choose one (which fits). P.S. watch out on reviews and handle sizes. I hope this was helpful. cheers
