Gameboy Advance games in a Gameboy Advance SP?

Do all Gameboy Advance games work in Gameboy Advance SP? I bought some used game cartridges that say Gameboy Advance (just like other games my kids already have) and plugged them into the SP. They do not work, but others do, so it's not the unit itself, but some issue with the cartridge. Any troubleshooting ideas?

Well, wasn't the best idea to take it apart. You need to go to the place you bought it from, tell them the problem , or contact Nintendo and see how your Manufacturer's Warranty works, and if its still under coverage. Good Luck!

Cartridge problem

Alcohol will destroy the contacts. Never use alcohol no matter what other sites say. Get a game cleaner instead.
