Hi... There's a plastic post on the underside of the Lid ( if you dont find one there ,it's broken off)..Thats the disk brake post. When you close the lid it moves the brake out of the way allowing the disk to spin
If the post is ok, clean the laser lens ( gently with a cotton swab)
ok This is a failure inside the system and can be cause by the disc being stuck in an okward position you can open by turning of your console from the back and opening up your PS3, DON'T DO THIS IF YOU HAVE WARRENTY, if you dont have warrenty open up ur ps3 and release the jammed disc but if you have warrenty dont do anything just send it away to get repaired
your disk is probably jammed, or the mechanism is broke. take it partially apart until you can (safely) remove the disk, and when you try to use another disk, and it gets jammed, then you know the mechanism is most likely broken, ad you should buy a broken or nonworking ps3 for a low price then strip the needed parts from it.
1. open the printer and move the carriage manually. if it moves freely go to step 2
2. check if there is a broken carriage chute. if it is damage the replace the printer or find someone who could fix it manually
3. turn the printer off and on. if it wont work go to step 4
4. check if there are paper jams.if there are non then go to step 5
5. uninstall and reinstall the ink cartridges. lastly go to step 6 if it wont work
6. reset the printer. unplug the power cord of the printer and before plugging it back again. press and hold # and 6 and do not release the buttons unless the printer would turn off or it would say "reset"
9. replace the printer it is of no use
Try turning the spin basket, something may have jammed itself inside
the tub. You can remove the front kick panel and remove the tub to pump
hose to clean it out.
If ok, you might have other problems like a broken belt in the back.
I think, either the "hook" that holds the cap of the holder has been stuck or broken and jammed...have you tried opening it? I recommend having a "fixer" do the job and check it for you...
