If there is a call while the handset is out of range, it may not ring, or if it does ring, the call may not connect well when you press . Move closer to the telephone base, then press to answer the call. If the handset moves out of range during a telephone conversation, there may be interference. That could be the Speaker Phone button. This turns on the speaker and microphone so you don't need to use the handset during a call. This should be the large button at the bottom right of the keypad for the Leboss HCD3588TSD. It's at the bottom of the vertical row with the DEL and Flash buttons.
