Is there a power input fuse on a Toshiba Satellite C655D?

no, there is no internal fuse, unfortunately- because this sounds like a dead motherboard. the aftermarket power supply could have been over-volting, or delivering unsteady power- burning the motherboard.

OR the old power supply shorted, and blew the motherboard's power circuitry, and you were just running off battery power when you first got the replacement.

please keep in mind that, at times, the physical power input jack on laptops can also break, or come loose from the motherboard.

Samsumg 42pspf301501a no power main input ok

Could be an internal fuse that has blown in the power supply, if that's ok, it could be the switched mode transistor that has failed.

Also check for dry solder joints that could be causing an intermittent connection

Marantz pm7200 hdam, will not power up, checked internal fuses all ok, over rid the internal power-on rely and power amp powers up but pre amp circuit still dead, any idea, power panel look fine but...

The preamp stage might be dead. Not much you can do but to bring it in. Make sure the input selector is on the right input.
Sometimes there's a "Monitor input" usually Tape2 input that overrides everything

I just had this thing running maybe a month ago no problems nothing working great. now about a month later its turning on then going off i seriously am retarded when it comes to this **** i had it hooked...

Hello bloodyspokes, For the amp to go immediately into protection, something is probably shorted, grounding out, or not grounding properly. First, remove and check the 40A onboard fuse just left of the power/ground/remote terminals. If the fuse is OK, disconnect the speaker wires and try powering up. If it powers up OK, check the speakers and wiring. If it doesn't, disconnect the inputs and try again. Check the grounds of both the amp and your receiver. If these check OK and the amp is still not powering up properly, it's most likely an internal component failure and the amp needs service. Hope this helps.

Signal light stays on, no sound output

T14 is part of the +15v power supply that feeds the input board.
It is actually a transistor.
If this is the only problem on the board, then this transistor could be resoldered back on but you will have to make sure it tests OK and it attaches to the heatsink the same way it came off. ie make sure it is electrically isolated from the heatsink
It seems if there is no fuses blown on the power amp board you might be one of the lucky ones.
In my opinion this amp is a clever design but is under-engineered for robustness

Pioneer Audio/video Multi-channel receiver Mod#VSX-D710S

Have you tried a 2nd source like the CD input or AUX input?
Have you tried the headphones..same static?
If nothing works then the output amp is broken. There could be internal fuses but only open a stereo when the power is DISCONNECTED. Then check for fuses

Infocus x2 dose nothing

Assuming the power outlet and cable is OK the most likely problem is the power supply and needs to be replaced.
