Changing the IMEI on a handset is illegal in a lot of countries, even if it is just changing it back to the original IMEI... There is Pro equipment available that can unlock these and correct the IMEI, you can purchase equipment like NSPro box to do this, or you can take it to a shop who may do this for you, however as I said it could be illegal depending on where you are and you will probably end up paying more than how much it would have cost to unlock the handset... There arent any codes that allow you to change the IMEI number back

G600 in trying to fix the network lock the imei are all zeros

Hi there,

First you will need to obtain the IMEI (serial number) for your handset. Type *#06# from your handset. The number that appears is the IMEI. Once you have this number you need to contact the Mobile Operator Customer Service department or use an online Subsidy Unlock service.

The phone must be in portrait mode. Once in portrait mode hit the Dial button on the touchscreen.

Type #7465625*638*Unlock Code #.
(Unlock Code is a unique 8 digit number).
Device will reply: Network Lock Deactivated.

Thank you for using FixYa! Have a nice day and please remember to rate this solution.

IMEI

you will need to reflash the phone with a clean version of the firmware.
it appears the unlocking solution did not work properly.
it should not have changed the imei.
the imei is how the phone communicates with the carrier.
i would go to some place that you can stick another sim in it and see if the sim is bad.
but chances are the solution to unlock bricked the phone.
Reflash it and use an unlock code from a reputable company.

Phone lock needs unlocking - samsung g600

switch the phone on without a sim card,
type in *2767*2878# WAIT for it to reset,
once it boots up itself, the phone code is now gone,
if the phone is asking for a SIM LOCK password
then send it to someone who has the equipment to unlock it
