I had my windshield replaced last week. We had a bad strom last night. This morning my front carpets are wet and the hummer wont start. Could this be related, what do I look for to try drying out, is it fixable?
I'm not a Hummer mechanic but I would say it is related, and I would go on to suppose that the fuse panel got wet and caused your troubles. I hope you had a reputable glass shop install your glass because they will be responsible for any repairs and damages.

if it is the brake lights that are on check the brake light switch on the brake pedal

Hey I have the same problem, but only when it rains, it comes from the sunroof then leaks into the carpet.

Check the battery terminals real good.Make sure they are clean and tight.Check and see if any of the side terminals are leaking. As far as the blower motor.It is more than likely that the blower motor resistor is bad.It is located by the blower motor.Hope this helps.Good luck.

The hot floor is the catalitic converter. It may be bad, but you need to find out why it got hot. usually lean codes will be present with this problem. could be a bad vacuum leak. mass air flow sensor could be bad. as far as the water being a 2006 I do not think it is the windshield, probably the drain is plugged up for your a/c look under the hood, passenger side, there should be a tube that hangs down around where the a/c lines go in to cabin. you can try to back flush it or run something up in it to free it up. good luck
