Phone resizes incoming photos in MMS

I had to reinitialize the phone yesterday. Since then, all incoming MMS have their photos resized to the size of the screen (240x360) which wasn't the case before. I can't find where to configure it not to change the size of incoming photos.

How to I attach a photo taken on the phone to an email - gmail?

set up a dropbox on a p.c then put same dropbox on phone. then upload the file to dropbox and then access it on p.c's dropbox. Then open file in pcpaint and resize photo down in size to get the size within gmail allowed file size and save file.

size of file will be the issue you might be able to reduce the resolution of the camera to take photos of the file size.gmail can handle.

My photo size is 1.3mb .I need to change it to jpeg 400kb

I personally copy the photo to my computer and use a freely available picture resizing tool from Windows and resize it that way.
Then you can copy it back to your tablet/smartphone or upload it to wherever you want to.

Why are my pictures blurry on my 8ff2fpb 37

I had the same problem with my photo frame but was happy to find the answer to the problem on the website for my photo frame:
You need a resizing program to resize all your photos to the recommended size for your frame. The program I used is:
http://www.faststone.org/
and here is the step-by-step instructions on how to resize all the pictures at once:
https://nix.zendesk.com/entries/22222492-How-to-Re-Size-Photos-for-your-Digital-Frame
After that all the pictures, even the ones with lower quality displayed perfectly fine on the photo-frame.

Open photo and then go to menu. Go to more items and then crop the photo. You have to resize the photo and then save it. Send the message again with the resized photo and it should work.

Picture file sizes...

Hi Gixerjames

The short answer is NO, I think, unless you set the camera to take small file sized images.
What do you mean by small by the way? Sounds like you have a specific purpose in mind but remember small "file sizes = less detail".

Is resizing a big chore - there are plenty of freeware utilities out there to do batch resizing if you find resizing tedious for all you images.

Motorola z3 , cant recieve picture messages

any photo you take with your phone can be sent, the 1600x1200 pixel photos are the largest this phone will take which is a 2.0 megapixel photo, when you send these, your internet provider will require them to be a certain size, for instance tmobile will require that the photos are 640x480, so your phone will resize them, before they are sent via mms. If you send them by bluetooth directly to someone in range they will be the full 1600x1200 pixel size or what ever size you take. Recieved photos must be this size or less and JPG format for them to be viewable on your phone... if they are larger they will not be recieved , this is normal. due to size constraints.. let me know if you need any further help... :-)
