Just plug the turntable into your phone inputs. If there is next to no volume then you need a preamp because you have a magnetic (low output) cartridge. If you have a piezo type cartridge the output should be enough to drive the amplifier to rated output. Of your unit does not have a phono input I can tell you that it definitely does not have a preamp built in.
This is so wrong as to make you cry.
The info was correct but there were a few typos. Sorry.
I'll just do one -- all PHONO inputs acceot magnetic cartridges ... and have for 60 years. No PHONO input has accepted a piezo cartridge since 1960. If for some reason you have a piezo cartridge (though no one has made them for decades. plug it into a LINE jack.
PS - The receiver does have a PHONO input.

Yes. You need a phono pre-amp connected to one of your line-level inputs.
I've seen them for $20.
Whoops! Though teh manufacturer itself does not list a PHONO input as a feature, I saw it listed on a review. So you do not need a separate pre-amp.

But .... since it obviously has a PHONO input, why on Earth would you need to ask if it has a PHONO input?
God alone knows why everything came through twice.

Yes, if it only has speaker-level inputs it would require an amplifier to properly drive it. Name the sub and maybe we can answer the second question.
