Many touchpads will do that; typing causes the membrane to bounce and it's seen as touches by you. That causes the cursor/pointer to move to the new position. The best solution is to turn off the touchpad and get a mouse, though I guess you could buy a new touchpad, if you prefer that type of control.
SOURCE: Hi I got a problem with my gateway laptop hope you could help me ?
if you have a blue screen on the start up you will need to use the windows cd to fix the installation. do a repair install, don't go into repair console when asked simply continue the setup and when it finds your windows installed select to repair the installation.
SOURCE: My problem is with Adobe Flash Player,or Directv
Probably won't help but it's all I can come up with.
Default zoom is Ctrl + 0 (zero), though I think that would apply to everything not just one program.

That may be the problem,J.D.,and I do appreciate your suggestion. But I feel that Adobe used me as training for their techs, and that they caused this problem. They tore my laptop completley apart and it took them three weeks to put it back togethere. They also had me connect it to my desktop so they could continue their work. And now,my smooth running desktop is running like garbage .Did I mention that my only problem with my LT was the Directv Player ? People, heed my warning.Do NOT let ADOBE work on your computer.I may dig out my mouse and try that. Many thanks J.D.
