We have a NEC phone and the FNC button will not quite flashing

What do we need to do to correct this

    I lifted the receiver and entered 42 that took care of the problem. I happened to see the suggestion on this sight. Our phone stytem does not have the feature button. We are still having problems with the MIC light being on, and are not sure how to get that off.

Press the fnc key again or feature than fnc.

    If you have a dtu phone than you have a feature key. Press feature than 1 turn the mic on and off. If you turn the mic off, people cannot hear you when using the speaker phone.

you probably have an ext unit please try the following steps
To set the time, Press FNC then 9 then # then set the hr and mins using number keys Use RECALL button to set AM & PM Press FNC again to set.
