I have a Mitsubishi TV and had the same problem. There is a mirror that moves to control each pixel. When some of them fail to move you get the white dots. Google your problem and a company will come up(sorry forgot the name).,you can buy the new part from them and they have exact utube videos to help you do the repair. Took me about an hour. Part was around $150. Very rewarding feeling when you turn the tv back on with no white dots.Still dot free after two years

If this is a LCD, or DLP, you would have to replace the panel, which would cost more than a new TV. Sorry.

Broken screen the the lg led tv screen is cracked

Hello, the lcd portion of the screen is broken and it will have to be replaced even though the outer plastic appears undamaged. You will find that it is cheaper to replace the set than to replace the screen. Sorry for the bad news.

Kids playing Wii cracked what appears to be plexiglass screen. Can I just unscrew frame and replace with piece of plexiglass cut to size?

If its just the clear outer screen you can, But the lenticular screen layer and Diffuser layer are special items.

Try holding down the power button & the home button until the apple logo appears on the screen. Takes a few seconds, but worked like a charm for me.

White dots all of screen

sound like you have a bad dlp chip. this happens to a lot of samsung dlp tvs. some of the mirrors are stuck. they can appear as black dots or white dots and it usually gets worse over time.

Plasma work fine but outer screen cracked.

it's hard not seeing the 'crack' but basically a real crack will allow the (plasma) gas to escape. if that happens just forget it and buy a new one if out of warranty.

if it really seems as tho there is a crack in the glass, I would just enjoy it while you can, and try not to ever move the TV as it may totally go at that point.

if under warranty get a tech out to the house before it expires. make them come out in this case rather than bring it in for the aforementioned reason.
