From the Main Menu press the button underneath the spanner>Demo and deselect the first square if it is ticked>Save.
With your device turned off, press and hold the "OK" button in between the arrows and press the "On" button.
On screen you should see the "Maintenance Menu". Scroll to "GPS menu" using the arrow keys and select it using the "OK" button. Select "Perform a GPS cold start". When this has finished, press the "Home" key twice (the one with the three lines on it). Turn the unit off, then go outside, raise the antenna, and turn it on again. Keep it still for 10-15 minutes and the unit will start to pick up GPS again.
Dont know if the navman 310 is the the same as the 320 but if you press the power button and the centre nav button in the middle of the arrows you get another menu with a reset for the gps hope this helps

iam having the same problem with my navman icn 320.it is not getting a gps reading at all.anyone have a solution?
i bought my sat-nave 18 months ago used it once put it back into box then took it out and turned on only to discover it tells me its waiting to recieve saterlites it just jams on cant program onwards

when i turn the navman on it says searching for gps and nothing else happens
