Power nozzle will not continue to run. I replaced the auto lock wand and it does run but not continuously/

If the motor is running intermittently you might want to check out the brushes for wear and bad contact against the commutator.

Intermittent motor head

Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson.

If your DC35's motorised cleaner head seems to work intermittently or cuts out when moved, this suggests that there could be a loose connection somewhere. We're keen to help you check for this, and our experts can talk you through some simple diagnostic checks to pinpoint the cause of the issue. If a replacement part is needed, we can also confirm whether or not your DC35 is still covered under its Dyson warranty.

When you have your DC35 fully charged and easily to hand, please give the Dyson Customer Helpline a call on 0800 298 0298 (UK), 1-866-693-9766 (US), 1-877-397-6622 (CA) or 1800 239 766 (AU).

We'll look forward to speaking with you.

I have a Karcher WD 3.500 P wet dry vac. First ? when vacuuming dirt off floor do I always need the bag or is the cartridge primary filter ok.. I clean it regularly. Second problem. I went to turn on...

The bag is part of the filtration design of the machine. Using it will not only make your primary cartridge filter last longer, but make the vacuum suck more efficiently & make your vacuum as a whole last longer.
You can bypass the switch to check if the motor is okay.
More often than not an intermittent operation of a machine is actually due to a break in the power lead. This is not always apparent externally though. You may need to get this checked by a qualified / certified person.

The motor stopped running. i can bang it down and it kinda kicks on but wont stay on...how can i fix this or where can i order a replacement motor

before replacing the motor, check the switch itself,, it could be bad or shorting ,, also,, if it seems intermittent it could simply be the motor brushes are worn, both of those are much cheaper than the motor, as with many fixes, sometimes its cheaper to replace the whole thing that repair it,, especially with vacuums

My Dyson DC07 vacuum started to run slower after being on for a little while and then would run normally again. I have switched on today and it has just stopped. When I push the start button, on...

The motor running slower was the motor starting to burn out. The "almost start" is the brushes making intermittent contact with the armature in the motor.
Your machine needs a new motor Pam.

MOtor runs very loud and screetches. Brush is

If you know how to open it's inducton motor and know to replace bushing and bearings, then turn it up-side down and dis-assemble your equipment, replace the bushing and bearings,
if not just bring it to a repair shop then they will be the one who will replace it

Flair motor shorting out?

There's a thermal cut-off when the unit has overheated. Mine does this quite often and I remedy it by emptying the canister and making sure the filter is clean, especially of lint and things that prevent good air flow.
