Jenn-Air oven shuts down after FC and F5 errors

When Jenn-Air SCE30600 (circa 1997) comes to oven temp (400F), after a period of time, say 25 minutes, then oven relays operate erratically, sometimes cycling oven light, and then an FC or F5 error is displayed and oven shuts down. Sometimes this takes oven clock and control panel power to off. Then 15 minutes of coooling off later, with a circuit breaker on/off sequence, stove and oven are back to normal. Just recently, this occured when the oven wasn't even on - we were using the stovetop! So I suspected wiring and connectors - not a component problem like an oven sensor. I knew this wasn't a control unit problem for me - I replaced this board and still had the problem (I do wish I had first replaced the capacitors on the board first and possibly saved some serious $$). I've read a lot of FixYa threads. I solved this by removing and inserting all connectors to the relay board and the oven sensor. I checked the oven sensor (1053 ohms at ~ 62F). But the aha moment - looking at the back of the relay board and seeing a number of soldering joints had dirt buildup. I gently scraped these soldering points and cleaned with alcohol. So far, oven is working fine for hours at a time at 400F.

Their was a good possibility that the solder could have been lifting of the contact points on the board, if the symptoms return i would check this, along with the said cleaning method :)

Re: Jenn Air #svd48600b Gas Stove Top works... Oven and Broiler not working(Elec.) I replaced Electronic oven control assy...It works correctly, but never gets Hot!! Any ideas??

Having a problem with the stove on this Jenn Air svd48600b.
Often with the oven warms up to 350F it starts beeping at and shuts off.
It flashes either just an FC error code, or FC and F5.

It is often possible to get the oven to work again if you wait 10-15min and cycle the power.

I imagine something is wrong with a heat sensor? The temperature sensor responsible for displaying temperature on the control panel seems fine though.

One other detail, even when the oven doesn't shut off at hot temperatures, the fan comes on (at around 220F) and stays on for over an hour after the oven is turned off.

Does anyone know if there is a different temperature sensor that might cause this? Is there a specific electronics board that may be leading to this problem.
when it heats up.

Jenn air range model SCE30600B error code FC blinks with beeping noise. After resetting the temp down to 350 to keep from burning a pizza error code FC started blinking along with continual beeping. I have...

replace the entire range: Jennair does not know how to design, make, or program electronics. It makes steel boxes that provide heat but electronics - that's not within their ability. Buy a Kenmore or a GE and your beeping problem will go away.
