White Flashing I have a Samsung HLN467W after about 45 mins to an hour there is a flashing that starts from intermittent to every other second.  The Flashing is similar to lighting going across any colors.  I have replaced the digital board.  I think due to the time frame that it could be ballast or a cooling issue.  Any ideas???

can i ask you a question did you unplug the machine and leave it sit for at least 1 hour
See these machines have a internal computer that stores information like any settings that are in the programed in the machine
It normally takes any where from 45 min to at least 1 hour to compete the memory loss on the computer thus resetting the computer ok
so please tell me if you did this if so there is more that we can do ok

It seems color wheel problem in your tv that gets problem after some time and you hear high pitch noise along with picture flicker.
Color wheel need to be replaced to solve this issue. Required color wheel is available with PartStore.com (click to view image of part and price info) and it is job of qualified tv repairman because light engine will take apart for that.

defo a heating element fault or an ntc fault. More likely to be the element though.

I would suggest replacing the Lamp

I bought a new monitor. Problem solved.

Press and hold the hr button for 3 seconds until the 12:00 starts flashing, then press the hr button again to set the hour. Then, press and hold the min button for 3 seconds until flashing starts - press the min button until minutes set.

remove the lamp and visually check if inside looks broken.if visually do not see any thing wrong,check if you have 300 volts dc supply on the ballast which starts the lamp.if you do then the ballast may be defective.if you do not then the power supply should be checked.
the lamp should always be tried first especially if is older than two years.
note - be aware about the switch at the door lamp.the door should be closed,otherwise tv will not work.if you remove the back cover,make sure to bypass the switch temporarely so you could work on the set.

Sounds like you have a bad color wheel assembly which is located in your light engine assembly.
