It takes several minutes for the igniter to light the GE cooktop burners.

Mike, do the flames look to be normal size once they do light or are they very small? You may have a bad regulator. The regulator is used to lower the incoming pressure to a safe level to prevent excessive flame size. It sounds as though the regulator is not working properly. However, if the flames are small or uneven levels, check the orifices directly below the caps or on the burner valves for any obstruction such as spillage or cleaner residues. You can replace the regulator with any brand that has a 1/2" in/out pipe thread. Most are available at a large hardware store.

I need to know the specs for whirlpool rs630pxk

Do you need the size of the RS630PXK range? The range is 30" wide, 31 7/8" high and 22 3/4" deep. The installation opening needs to be larger to allow for air circulation around the range. It needs 120V AC power. The specifications for the size and the installation space size is given in the installation guide. Whirlpool has the guide on their product support page. The direct link to the installation guide is http://www.whirlpool.com/digitalassets/MLPDF/Installation%20Instructions%20-%20311433.pdf . All of the documentation can be found by searching on the model number starting here: http://www.whirlpool.com/manuals/ .

I hope this helps.

How do I reprogram a Frigidaire stove/oven after replacing the eoc?

Thank you for your post, Roy!
Based off the information you have provided you need to reprogram your Frigidaire range because you have replaced the oven control. The best way to reset your range is to disconnect power from it for roughly ten minutes. If that does not help resolve your issue you may need to have another electrical component changed and I would recommend seeking assistance from a professional technician for proper repairs. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

What does code d-o mean

Good Afternoon friend, that's a great question!

From my understanding your Electrolux range is displaying a code of "d-o". The code could stand for open door, could be missing a sequence, or a miscommunication within the control panel. I would recommend performing a reset on your range and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If that does not help resolve your issue I would suggest having a professional technician out to perform a proper diagnosis and repair. Hope this information is helpful. -Matt

Installation in a hole bigger than the unit, is there a flange kit or something that will help get it to fit?

yes there is a kit you can use. most diy shops that sell cooker fixings etc will have them. they usually stainless steel and you have to cut them to size you need. and make a square with it. backing with bits of wood to the size of the hole need to put the top on and the stainless steel to cover the wood that has been put in. you can make your own. by filling the hole with wood strips get from a timber yard or store have them cut the size you need. then fix them to the open part you need to fill. leave a lip ( this is to put the stainless steel to. check it all fits. then get the strips of metal to fill the hole making sure they the right size glue them down to the strips of wood you have put in then put the top on. jobs a good one. don't nail the wood in place put 4 good long screws in each piece of wood gives it strength then.

Converting LP to NG

The install manual on the dacor web site insists that Natural Gas requires the nozzles be removed, that low pressure NG works with the large 'default size nozzles'. Have done the conversion, in Australia, for my own barbecue, worked ok
Gas is too dangerous to make mistakes with. All I can suggest if Dacor is difficult is take the pdf of the installation instructions, link in the first replies, and the barbecue to a local gasfitter/plumber and ask them to work on it. they will be able to do the calculations from the existing nozzle size, lpg pressure, ng pressure, and required BTU output, to put in correctr nozzles

Dacor Australia are much easier to deal with.
