When I record albums, I set the needle down and then hit "record" and the "record" indicator is on BEFORE the music starts. When side 1 is done, I hit "PAUSE" and flip album and repeat process for side 2. After recording, I use "peak normalization" and save a "192 Kb transparent." There are ALWAYS more recorded tracks than recoded songs with each song comprising more than 1 track. When I transfer recorded album to iPod and play, the fist 30 seconds or so of the first song on side 1 is ALWAYS cut at the beginning with ALL other songs (including side 2) NOT cut.
SOURCE: Recording vocals while the music tack is playing simultaniously
it's not supported on that or any earlier sony software that I know of. have you tried running the program twice (simultaniously) and playing on one while recording on the other then mixing the tracks together after??
SOURCE: I have a Fostex DMT-8vl 8 track digital recorder.
You can copy. You cannot just dump the file data. Unless you have an audio interface with multiple inputs, you can only copy 2 tracks at a time. Also, to sync the timing you'll need a midi port on the computer. Then you make the computer the "master" and the Fostex a "slave" device.

Hi rudempis,
I not familiar with Sony's ACID Music Studio, but think it should have some of the same standard features other music studios have.
You should be able to load the long track that you have and see the graphic representation of the music. Slowly scroll to the right until you see an almost flat line, this will be the pause between songs. Once you find the pause, cut out that section and save it as an individual song. Do this with each song. When your done you should be able to burn all the songs to CD with no problems.
Hope this helps

it could be your record settings in your burner check to see which track your runing menu.
