Then it's time for a new one, but the platter touches the underground: be smRt and replance the centre shaft, since you have an 1210mk2 and they need replacement. it's 40 euro. and you'll notice the difference after many years using an old one

AMANA ACM1580AW WNONT HEAT

If the inside light, cooling fan, and turntable are not all coming on when you hit "Start" to cook, then you likely have a bad top or bottom door switch, or that switch's mount is loose, misaligned, or broken.

See these help files:
http://031d26d.namesecurehost.com/mwd/safety.txt
http://031d26d.namesecurehost.com/mwd/disassembly.txt
http://031d26d.namesecurehost.com/mwd/doorsw.txt

If the inside light, cooling fan, and turntable are all coming on when you hit "Start" to cook, then chances are you have a failed high voltage diode or magnetron or a bad connection at the magnetron.
You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number from the tag on the oven here.

Technics Sl-1210 MkII spins backwards

As the turntable was hit hard then an internal inspection should be done to look for signs of phyical damage. It could be anything from broken parts to bad soldering or a crack on the PC board. I rather suspect it should be obvious what got damaged when you look inside.

WHY DOES MY TECHNIC 1200 MK3 GO IN REVERSE IF I HIT THE START BUTTON TWICE?

There is a mod you can do to the 1200 to make it spin in reverse with a double-tap on the start / stop switch - exactly as you're describing. Likely, the previous owner installed said mod. It's awesome, embrace it.

G.E. Spacemaker microwave turntable won't turn

The turntable system consists of the motor, the coupler, the turntable support with rollers, and the tray.

You can see and hear a video of how a turntable motor should sound when you rotate it by hand.

If yours is not set to be off via the control panel, and it won't rotate or it sounds like it's grinding, etc., you may have a bad motor or plastic coupler.

To replace either, you need to unplug power, then remove the bottom cover of the oven.

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Dacor dcm24s.light, fan, and control panel work but turntable and heat do not

Most likely the bottom door switch. Dacor units are built by Sharp and that switch is a very common problem. You'd either need to check the switch with an ohm meter or remove the cover of the switch to see if it's burned inside.

DP 29 turnable

I don't know what the adjustment settings are that you posted, but the speeding up could be the result of the belt in the bottom inside slipped off its spool that acts as a gear for the speeds, similar to gears on a pushbike but they are smooth spools.
