AT&T E250 2.4Ghz Expansion Handset won't charge.

Usually when made they come with rather poor quality rechargeable batteries in them to save money.

Lots of sellers on EBAY from China etc are selling them now there, got two of the packs, open phone, unplug, remove battery pack, install new on.

I got a few that came in five days from Hong Kong duty free for under ten dollars for two sets of the batteries.

My money would be the batteries are trash.

The cost of the handset is less than $25. If the unit is under warranty ( less than i year old ), you could contact the service center and get it replaced without any cost.

The average cost of repair is around $75 on this set for display. That is one of the reasons why we recommend buying a new handset. This is a common problem on most of the handsets. We did everything that we could - swapping batteries and making sure that it is properly registered.

I know, it is not a good new, unfortunately there is no reset button unless you take it apart and look for a loose wire or connection. That is the only possibility.

On the base, open the menu and select Register Handset. The display should say Handset Registering.
On the handset you want to register, press and hold # until the handset display says Handset Registering (about 2 seconds).

In about 30 seconds, the handset display should say Registration Complete. Press Talk/fl ash and make sure you get a dial tone.

They probley screwed u... It was probably broken...

I sent the handsets in to Panasonic for repair or replacement.

when you have a problem with anything under warranty, you take it back for new units or a refund and anything under 12 months old is under warranty
if you have lost the receipts get a copy of your bank statements as that shows where it was bought , how much it cost and when
