Model #30524 additional phone says warning battery check battery how do I get a battery

Do you mean the GE DECT 6.0 30524 corded/cordless phone? For this landline telephone, you can switch a call from one handset to another (or the base) by using the Intercom feature. Press del/int on the handset or Int on the base and choose a handset number (use the CID +/ phonebook -) buttons (if multiple handsets are registered) or select base from the handset. Press Menu/OK to page the other handset or base. Once that device answers the incoming Intercom call, press and hold Del/Int or Int to create a conference call (both handsets or handset and base listening). Press Del/Int or Int to switch from the Intercom call back to the call on hold. Hang up on the first handset if the person on the second handset will continue to speak to the original caller alone. For any landline phone, to forward a call to another phone number, you need to subscribe to a forwarding option with your telephone company. Check their information for initiating call forwarding.

If the installed battery is original equipment, the battery itself may be going bad ( wearing out ).
Remove and test battery for proper currents etc.
If battery passes all tests, than there may be internal device failure pertaining to the charging and discharging of the battery.
Visual examination of the battery - look for swelling, out of shape, curvature, etc. Does it lay flat ? Is it warm to the touch ? Do the contacts appear dis-colored or uneven color ?

If non-authentic battery, then battery technology / dis-charge and / or charge may not meet manufacturer specifications.

Continued use could cause ( further ) physical damage to the device.

Change battery with a known good battery, that meets manufacturer specs. If warning message continues, or if additional warnings appear, have the device and charger unit checked and/or serviced by an authorized service provider.

Kies update / reset may rectify this warning issue.
Please backup all important files, contacts, etc., prior to update / reset device, anticipate all information will be deleted from the device

Check for fuel supply problems (clogged cap vent, dirty tank fuel filter, clogged or faulty fuel intake lines, leaky or cracked primer bulb, air leak in rear crankcase cover...check 4 screws above gas tank, air leak in carb gasket...check carb nuts, trashed up carburetor...needs cleaning or rebuild, mixture screws need adjusting)....a myriad of possibilities here but I would guess it's a dirty carb....hope it helps

Your battery is nearing the end of its useful life. If you replace with a new battery, you will likely solve this trouble.

Find replacement at a FixYa.com advertiser, Radio Shack, www.batteries.com or other file retail outlet that sells batteries.

Try to reset the handset from handset menu, maybe the eeprom setting for low battery warning threshold have been ereased . Also check ,if the battery is the oregional battery for the phone.
