MAZTANG MT-968 stopped after 30 seconds and won't start. What now?

Check your circuit breaker in your house could need resetting.
If you are plugged into a GFI outlet it may need resetting as well.
That happens a lot with GFI receptacles.

The motor runs but the tines no longer turn

Does the drive shaft turn and the tines just spin around it ? if not then on the drive shaft there is a gear box and you need to open that up (without the machine plugged in) and check to see why the gears aren't meshing properly.

Our hayward power-flo matrix series pump will not go on. When we push the on switch, nothing happens. We have checked the brakers, ran an extension cord to check the outlet, checked to see the motor will...

Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.

Please explain what you mean by "checked the brakers, ran an extension cord to check the outlet, checked to see the motor will run manually and it will". I assume you mean the breaker in not tripped. What I am unsure of is how you would use an extension cord to check an outlet and what you mean by the motor runs manually.

If you have a power-flo matrix and it is plugged into a 115 volt outlet and by manually you mean you can spin the pump by hand and it turns freely and you have tried to plug something like a radio into the outlet to ensure it works then the problem is the motor or its on/off switch.

If a radio or some other item plugged into the same outlet also doesn't work you'll need to look at the electrical system.

Please add a comment to address what your situation is if this doesn't help.

When i operate the switch on my karcher pressure washer the power wash does not operate.

But water comes out the end right? just under hose pressure only I bet. I have one of these units and every time I think it has gone bad I manage to find the problem. This unit not only has the switch on the front that needs to be on but it also has a safety switch on the plug where it plugs into a wall or extension cord. The last time I thought mine had gone bad it had actually blown the fuse. the unit was plugged into an outside outlet via extension cord. It just so happens that that is an GFCI outlet. I think the wife got water on the extension cord and that caused it to blow. So check:
The power switch on the front The safety switch on the cord, The outlet it is plugged into
Usually, for us, it is the button on the cord when it is plugged into an extension cord it always gets the test button bumped which shuts it down.

I have a question on Coleman AC

First of all, an extension cord and GFI receptacle to run an AC unit will almost always blow either GFI or circuit breaker or both due to large current draw from AC unit. If an extension cord needs to be used, keep it as short as possible, and use the heavier gauge that is approved for AC use. What happens when you use an extension cord, is the voltage drop that will happen by the time the AC gets power. With any voltage drop, the amperage draw increases, so a 15 amp circuit breaker will most likely trip. Nowadays, all AC units are wired with a minimum 12 gauge wire rated for 20 amps.
You say nothing is happening now, is that to say that the fan only mode doesn't work on the AC unit either?

Trips GFCI receptacle for laundry circuit.

I ran into this problem with a washer this summer. the gfi breaker needs to be replaced. it is weak and trips easily. if you can run an extension cord to an outlet without the gfi andrun your washer, you probably will not have any issues. that is what I found with the washer this summer. when it was plugged into the gfi, itwould trip. but when I had it plugged into a regular outlet, it was fine. Sunbeam Skillet Older Version

If it's a 110V version, get an extension cord and clip the bad portion of you plug. Splice it in with the extension cord. And next time use a transformer.
